Workload: 100%Our client, a Swiss Pharmaceutical company specializing in innovative medicines for rare diseases, is in the process of launching their first commercial product. They are seeking a Medical Director - Clinical Development to provide scientific and medical expertise to various products across various stages of clinical development to facilitate regulatory submissions.Your tasks:
- Drive the formulation and execution of robust clinical development strategies, guiding cross-functional teams towards successful program delivery.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive clinical development plans, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and company objectives.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize trial designs, study protocols, and overall development processes.
- Provide invaluable medical insights and oversight throughout all phases of clinical development, from study initiation to data analysis and regulatory interactions.
- Analyze clinical trial data to derive actionable insights and interface with regulatory agencies to facilitate product development activities.
- Foster effective collaboration across diverse global teams, leveraging your leadership skills to drive cohesion and productivity.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and external experts to enrich program development and validation.
- Proactively identify and mitigate clinical development risks, devising robust risk management strategies to ensure program success.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent degree, with a preference for candidates with a background in immunology.
- Extensive experience in clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, with a proven track record of successfully leading global clinical development programs.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate scientific insights into actionable clinical development strategies, driving innovation and progress.
