In this role, you will contribute to ensuring that syringes, pens, and autoinjectors meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and quality. This position involves hands-on testing, data analysis, and collaboration with a team of experts in a laboratory setting.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional testing of medical devices and drug combination products, including vials, syringes, pens, and autoinjectors.
- Measure key parameters such as forces, dose accuracy, injection times, leakage rates, and device dimensions.
- Plan, execute, and document tests for product characterization, design verification, method development, and validation.
- Participate in root cause investigations and prepare detailed test reports.
- Support or lead the qualification and maintenance of analytical equipment, including preparation of qualification documents.
- Review lab-related SOPs, test methods, method validation and transfer documents, and test protocols.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong interest in drug delivery devices and their multidisciplinary aspects.
- Team-oriented mindset with an open and collaborative approach.
- Flexible, pragmatic, and goal-oriented working style with a scientific mindset.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
