Our teams develop and provision medical devices in the field of radiotherapy. Our products (True Beam, Halcyon, Identify) are innovative solutions which help patients all around the globe to treat cancer with highest precision. Our goal is to provide more patients access to a high-quality standard of personalized cancer care.As Product Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing test activities. You will be embedded in a cross-functional team where you collaborate with software developers, product managers, DevOps, and clinical experts. You will actively engage with teams from sites in Baden, Palo Alto, Helsinki and Budapest fostering effective cooperation and ensuring consistent implementation of quality processes across diverse locations.Major ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, execute and report product verification activities.Code and review C# and Python automated test cases in .NET environmentUpdate test environments with new Software builds and execute automated tests including debuggingMaintain and further develop infrastructure for test automationOperation of in-house developed test tools and simulators for the realization of automated test casesFurther develop the test automation strategy and qualityPerform product verification activities for the assigned products according to the product lifecycle process (PLC):Execution: run the defined test cases, report issues and follow up as needed. This includes also issues found outside the predefined test areas.Reporting: update test summary reports and monitoring tools during test execution and at the end of test activities. This includes the verification summary report but also other reports / tools required for test progress tracking (e.g. progress tracking, quality measures, DR reports, etc.).Collaboration with local and international teams (travelling may be required)Job Requirements:B.Sc. in an engineering or computer science discipline or comparable education.More than five years experience with automated software testing, preferably UI-based.Experiences in the medical device industry or another regulated environment.Tester certification (ISTQB/SAQ Certified Tester) is a plus.Fluency in spoken and written English.
