Its turbogas fleet is already capable of burning between 40 and 70 per cent hydrogen, with the aim of reaching 100 per cent by 2030.PositionYour main responsibility is to participate to the commissioning and the operation of the Ansaldo Gas Turbine in the Test Power Plant in Birr (Switzerland).Your tasksCommissioning from single component to full systems (GT and its auxiliaries) from mechanical and instrumentation point of view according to commissioning documentation and design specifications • Functional tests and logic interlocks verification and troubleshooting • GT Cold and Hot commissioning Phase (motorroll, GT ignition, first synchronization to grid, GT loading up to Base Load) • Operation of the GTRequirementsYour profileDegree in mechanical engineering and with a good technical understanding • 5-10 years of experience from the industrial sector, preferably power industry, with a well proven track record • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in commissioning activities • Open minded team player, willing to learn with strong endurance and able to work under pressure • Have strong interpersonal skills & being a good communicator • Critical thinking, problem solving & analytical skills • Good organization of own work and good attitude to schedule and manage the entire team work, reporting timely to on site organization • Able and willing to travel globally at 20 % of the time • Excellent command of English, knowledge of Italian would be an asset, other languages are an advantage.Other informationYour benefit with usWorking with passionate people • Participating in environmental sustainability • Challenging work • Attractive and exciting products • Interaction with international colleagues • Flexible working conditions • Place of work in the heart of Switzerland, close to the metropoles like Zurich and Basel.Video
