- Develop a global strategic marketing plan in collaboration with Product Management and Regional Leadership, and oversee its implementation in alignment with overarching business goals, resources, and budgets.
- Lead go-to-market processes and guide cross-functional teams through new product and solution launches to ensure global alignment and immediate commercial success.
- Define and execute global marketing campaigns within predefined timelines and budgets, ensuring strict adherence to Tecan's global brand guidelines for all marketing collateral.
- Monitor key marketing and campaign performance metrics, conducting regular reviews at both global and regional levels, and driving improvements based on lessons learned.
- Work closely with Internal Communications and regional leadership to effectively disseminate commercial and marketing updates among the global sales and applications teams.
- Provide consultancy to business units on top-tier marketing strategies and customer advocacy programs, while supporting the development of marketing competencies across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry and marketing communication trends, bringing innovative approaches to marketing campaign execution.
- Proactively manage the network of external partners and agencies to ensure the smooth and timely execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration across different business units, promoting synergy and the exchange of best practices.
- Extensive experience in the Life Science, Diagnostics, or Medical Device industry, preferably within an international setting.
- 10 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- A broad range of marketing expertise, including strategic marketing, campaign development and execution, customer advocacy programs, digital marketing, sales force enablement, global events, etc.
- Track record in building marketing organizations that drive business growth through strategic planning, disciplined execution, and agile operating model.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop talents and build marketing capabilities across the organization.
- Excellent English skills are a must. German or any other language would be an asset.
- Creative and able to inspire others to go an extra mile to achieve excellence in marketing and customer communications.
- Willingness to travel 20-30%.
