Cluster Assistant E-Commerce & Revenue ManagerDepartment: Digital Strategy & WebEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Switzerland - EngelbergReporting To: Cluster Director of RevenueDescriptionThe main goal of the Cluster Assistant E-Commerce & Revenue Manager, available as of 1st of November 2025 or as agreed, is to drive direct business and increase the digital presence for the Kempinski Palace Engelberg and Frutt Mountain Resort, managed by Kempinski. This involves a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution in both fields, e-Commerce & Digital Strategy (75 - 80% scope) and Revenue Management (20 - 25% scope). With a focus on traffic, conversion, distribution landscape and revenue growth, you will work closely with the Cluster Director of Revenue, internal departments and external agencies with the goal of positioning our website as the primary booking channel.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Cluster Assistant E-Commerce & Revenue Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital narrative and optimizing every touchpoint of the guest's online journey.Your key tasks will include, but not limited to:
Driving direct bookings via strategic web performance and optimized user journeys
Enhancing the hotel website with focus on conversion, UX, SEO, and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
Overseeing SEO performance and content quality
Leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, agency dashboards, and SynXis to inform decisions
Liaising with the Regional and Corporate offices for deploying website enhancements and functionality upgrades
Collaborating with Corporate and global e-Commerce teams to deploy brand initiatives
Ensuring data protection compliance (GDPR, Swiss legal standards)
Creating promotional content for special offers and packages in coordination with the hotel's Commercial Team
Website Analytics
Analyzing website user behaviors, site performance, traffic, source of referrals, etc., and enhancing performance
Conducting competitive benchmarking and keeping up with digital market trends
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Review the ranking of the hotel website on search engines and update the hotel website with relevant search terms and adequate keyword frequency to ensure that it gets the best possible natural page rank in the languages available
Establish, develop and maintain a keyword matrix for the hotel and consider it when designing website content
Update and optimise meta titles, descriptions and image tags in all languages
Follow corporate guidelines for SEO content management and best practices
Digital Paid Media Strategy
Developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns (Paid Search, Display, Paid Social Media, Meta Search, etc.) for the hotel in key feeder markets
Analysing digital performance data to scale or abort campaigns strategically and ensure profitability
Reviewing and monitoring the hotel's primary competition set on a regular basis online and ensure/maintain competitiveness and 'web appeal'
Online Travel Agents & Vendors
Reviewing and maintaining the hotel representation on OTAs including content, images and review score
Managing and optimizing Google My Business and presence across digital maps and listings
Ensuring the pictures loaded on all brand and third-party websites are in accordance with corporate identity guidelines
E-Mail Marketing/Newsletters
Formulating a newsletter strategy together with the hotel teams (Marketing, PR, F&B, Spa, etc.)
Analysing email productivity and profile segmentation
General
Staying ahead of tech innovation and digital transformation
Participate in strategic meetings and workshops
Participate in the monthly Revenue & e-Commerce corporate calls
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseThe hiring level for this position will depend on your qualifications and experience.
Preferably gained experience in an international, luxury five-star hotel
1-2 years of relevant experience in either field (E-Commerce or Revenue)
Work experience or degree related to industry/department
Solid knowledge of channel management, CMS platforms, and analytics tools
Knowledge of industry-specify measurements and best practices regarding Paid Media, SEO, Social Media, Conversion Rate Optimization, etc.
Ability to adapt to a frequently changing market environment. Be proactive and able to 'think outside of the box'
Agile, analytical, and strategic thinker with a hands-on, can-do approach
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
