Function: Global Operations – SIOP Advanced AnalyticsRole PurposeAs the SIOP Advanced Analytics Leader, you will own the global analytics strategy for SIOP, enabling data-driven decisions that balance demand, supply, EBIT, and cash trade-offs.This role leads a team responsible for AI/statistical forecasting model development, decision support for S&OP, and training/adoption of advanced planning tools. You will partner with global and regional SIOP leaders, Finance, Product Marketing, and Operations to deliver predictive insights, scenario modelling, and portfolio analytics that drive business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Forecasting & AI Model Development
- Own the design, development, and continuous improvement of statistical and AI/ML forecasting models for demand planning.
- Implement demand sensing algorithms and predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
- Lead analytical support for monthly S&OP meetings, providing insights on demand/supply balancing, inventory, and financial trade-offs.
- Develop scenario planning models to evaluate options under demand volatility, supply constraints, and cost/service implications.
- Provide analytical insights for Portfolio Complexity Reduction, Adjacency Assessments, and NPI/LTS (New Product Introduction / Long-Term Supply) readiness.
- Drive training and capability building for regional and functional teams on advanced analytics tools and methodologies.
- Ensure adoption at scale of new forecasting models, dashboards, and decision-support tools across the enterprise.
- Partner with IT and Digital teams to ensure data architecture, governance, and integration for SIOP analytics.
- Champion automation and visualization through BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced analytics platforms.
- Education: Master’s in Data Science, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in advanced analytics, forecasting, or supply chain planning, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise:
- AI/ML modeling for forecasting (Python/R, TensorFlow, or similar)
- Statistical forecasting techniques and demand sensing
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and planning platforms (SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis)
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional analytics teams and drive adoption of digital tools.
- Communication: Strong executive presence; ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights.
- Language: English required; additional European languages a plus.
