Your ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to join our R&D Smart Controls team and support the modernization of elevator systems.In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and execute qualification tests for key electrical components like door systems, brakes, and load measurement devices. You'll define test strategies with engineering teams, maintain test infrastructure, and help drive product improvements through hands-on validation.Your exciting new challenges
- Defining test strategies for electrical components and delivering test specifications
- Executing tests according to test specifications and/or other applicable standards
- Maintaining and updating the test infrastructure and measurement equipment
- Working together with external test labs and experts for test not conducted inhouse or in case of missing expertise
- Developing and implementing state-of-the-art test methods and procedures
- Proposing technical improvements on the tested parts
- Implementing and surveying of CTO laboratory safety rules and directives
- Degree in electrical engineering or similar
- Extensive experience in testing of electrical components and systems, electrical CAD and product configuration
- Programming knowledge (PLC, test automation equipment)
- Proficiency in English, Italian is a plus
