You’ll learn how to manufacture casting and injection moulds as well as punching tools for industrial production
As part of your training, you’ll also assemble, inspect and maintain tools
Working with metal, you’ll use both manual techniques (such as filing and sawing) and machine-based methods (such as turning and milling)
Step by step, you’ll become familiar with modern machines and measuring equipment – including the basics of CNC programming
Qualifications:
You have a secondary school diploma (Realschule) or a very good lower secondary school diploma (Hauptschule)
You enjoy math and physics – you're curious about how things work and love learning new things
You're passionate about technology: you have good manual skills, and you're especially interested in metalworking
You have a strong spatial imagination, which helps you understand technical processes more easily
Precision and accuracy are important to you – you like working in a structured and systematic way
