Do you promote the benefits of a data-driven business in a modern world?We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Engineer with knowledge of Azure to join us in Geneva in a position that requires a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model.As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with our client (Swiss-based bank), undertaking a full cloud migration program and executing data migration activities.Join us and explore new career opportunities at the intersection of business planning and data development in the exciting field of global technology.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement modern, scalable data solutions using a range of new and emerging technologies from AzureExecute the data migration project according to planningShare data engineering experience when communicating with the client on their requirements, turning these into technical data solutionsBuild and deliver data solutions using Azure productsBuild documentation for operating the provided solutionRequirements5+ years of professional data engineering experienceExperience with Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL MI for provisioning, sizing, admin tasks and performance tuningGood understanding of relational database and SQL languageGood knowledge of ETLHands-on experience with Windows and SQL Server troubleshootingExperience with one of the various migration methods to Azure SQL servers using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, backup and restoreOpenness to cover a limited amount of cross-role tasks (DBA, scripting for DevOps)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient communication skills in English and in FrenchWe offer/Benefits
