We closely collaborate with our functions to convert hypotheses into innovative therapeutics for patients.Job missionWe are offering an outstanding opportunity for a scientist to contribute to our efforts to develop novel therapies for patients experiencing vision loss. You will work in close collaboration with multidisciplinary scientists within and outside Ophthalmology to develop new models, set up assays, perform relevant analyses, and lead project teams to advance new drugs through the pipeline and into the clinics.Your main responsibilities:Design, plan, and execute laboratory researchBroaden our strategy identify druggable nodes forCommunicate scientific progress through internal meetingsYour profileBSc in cell or molecular biology, bioengineering or related fieldExperience with human primary cell culture, iPSC, or organoidsSkills in molecular biology, immunohistochemistry and state-of-the-art imaging methods including fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, and image analysis softwaresDriven, passionate, and proactiveOur commitmentRoche commits to recognizing talent and aptitude.
