Lead automation strategies for advanced manufacturing equipment in GMP-compliant biotechnology environments
Drive digital transformation initiatives through system integrations, data connectivity, and process optimization
Provide expert technical support for DCS (DeltaV), MES (PAS-X), PLC, SCADA, and OEM automation systems
Spearhead continuous improvement projects by reviewing equipment specifications, P&IDs, and system lifecycle documentation
Troubleshoot complex automation challenges to enhance manufacturing performance and yield optimization
Manage technology transfers from pipeline facilities to commercial GMP operational status
Coordinate with external vendors for spare parts procurement and service maintenance
Execute system qualifications including writing, reviewing, and implementing test protocols
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent with minimum 5 years automation controls experience (DeltaV DCS)
Comprehensive knowledge of computer validation/SDLC requirements and GAMP 5 standards
Proven expertise with DeltaV DCS, DeltaV Batch, ISA S95 and S88 protocols
Minimum 3 years experience in automation within Biologics, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industries
Advanced proficiency in industrial controls including DCS (DeltaV), MES (PAS-X), and Historian (PI)
Strong communication skills in English (C1 level), German knowledge advantageous
Networking experience with Ethernet/IP, OPC, Profinet, and ModBus protocols preferred
