Key Responsibilities of the Lead HSE - Railroad manufacturingLead and evolve the company's Health & Safety Management System (HSE)Define and implement a safety strategy with measurable KPIs and continuous improvement goalsDrive development and rollout of safety training programmes,Maintain strong external relations (SUVA, clients, industry bodies) on all safety mattersProvide expert advice to the Executive Committee and site leadership on safety topics,Support and guide operational teams through site visits, audits and safety consultations,Swiss Leader in Railroad ManufacturingSafetyKey Responsibilities of the Lead HSE - Railroad manufacturingLead and evolve the company's Health & Safety Management System (HSE)Define and implement a global safety strategy with measurable KPIs and continuous improvement goalsDrive development and rollout of safety training programmes, both internally and via external partnersCollaborate closely with HR on planning and delivery of training - especially during quieter early-year periodsMaintain strong external relations (e.g. SUVA, clients, industry bodies) on all safety mattersProvide expert advice to the Executive Committee and site leadership on safety topicsSupport and guide operational teams through site visits, audits and safety consultationsOversee and report on accident analysis, safety metrics, and strategy alignmentEnsure compliance with all occupational health and safety standards and legislationPromote a step-by-step approach to change, with tact and perseverance in an environment with strong personalitiesOur client enables major rail projects with minimal disruption, using advanced mechanisation to maintain or renew tracks, even on live and high-speed lines.   • Academic background or Experience in Quality or Safety Management in the Railroad or Manufcaturing sector in general,
  • Bilingual French and German,
  • Industrial safety experience - comfortable working with field teams and site realities
  • Strong in reporting, KPIs and safety metrics to support decision-making
  • Confident trainer and communicator, able to engage at all levels, internally and externall
