Development and implementation of a country-specific marketing calendar, including budget and cost control
Deriving marketing objectives based on sales targets, market conditions using internal and external data sources, and market, consumer and brand insights; from this, you will identify needs and develop recommendations for action
Defining KPIs to measure success and reviewing their development over time
Implementation of marketing activities in line with the marketing plan for Switzerland, including day-to-day business and local campaigns with the aim of customer activation
Working very closely with brand management and other departments (e.g. sales, global marketing, media market research) and acting as the country marketing interface for internal and external stakeholders
Establish and develop partnerships with local suppliers and service providers
You inspire us – your profile
Completed degree in economics, marketing/communication or equivalent training
Several years of professional experience in consumer marketing, preferably in the optical industry or in retail
Extensive experience in an international environment and in cross-functional collaboration within matrix organisations
Deep understanding of marketing strategy: high level of expertise in marketing mix, market research and target group analysis
Basic knowledge of advertising media, such as online marketing, print advertising, radio and TV
Fluent in English and German, French and Italian would be an advantage
Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
Analytical mindset, quick comprehension with the ability to balance between strategic thinking and a hands-on mentality
Highly cooperative, yet confident in constructively challenging the status quo
