Ship’s management in cooperation with the 2nd Captain according to existing law and regulations
Managing/instructing nautical crew with docking/manoeuvring of the ship
Assisting Captain with docking/sailing/manoeuvring of the ship (when required)
Basic and advanced training of Sailors
Coordinating and assigning tasks to Sailors and Deckhands for the ship’s maintenance

Requirements:

Good command of German and/or English language
Competed training with valid Captain licenses for Rhine/Danube/Elbe and/or other rivers
Minimum 1 year of experience on a similar position
Radar and Radio Transmission licenses
Certificates for “Safety Expert for Passenger Vessels” and “First Aid” are a benefit
Friendly and work-oriented personality
