- As part of a DevOps team, you are responsible for developing and maintaining an AWS-based data infrastructure and pipelines.
- You design, implement, and optimize Spark ETL processes to ensure efficient data processing.
- You work closely with data owners and data analysts to build and maintain robust and reliable data pipelines.
- You analyze requirements, design data products, and implement them within our Big Data stack.
- By automating processes, you ensure smooth operations and continuously improve our development stack.
- In close collaboration with business stakeholders and the architecture team, you align technical solutions with business needs.
- You hold a university degree in computer science or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience, along with strong expertise in data processing using Apache Spark, SQL, Python, or Scala.
- Ideally, you have experience in software development (Scala, Java) and AWS analytics services (Glue, SageMaker, Athena, Lambda, Batch).
- You are interested in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and DevOps best practices.
- You enjoy working in an agile environment and bring a growth mindset.
- You communicate well in German, both verbally and in writing, and have good English skills.
