Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our Process Solutions team within the Chemtech division in Switzerland.Join our team to support Quality Control and Quality Assurance implementation, while also supporting Project Managers and Purchasing with expediting on projects. In this role, you will ensure compliance with standards and regulations, oversee welding and inspection activities, and drive supplier qualification and performance to guarantee high-quality results across all project phases.Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Execute and supervise non-destructive tests (VT, PT, PMI, RT) and quality control in apparatus and skid construction
Oversee welding activities (inspection, WPS/PQR/WPQ) and act as registered test/welding supervisor
Manage CE marking, conformity checks, standards compliance, and risk analyses for projects
Audit and qualify suppliers, ensuring quality of parts, components, and external fabrication
Support QA processes including test instructions, specifications, tender documents, and continuous improvement
Advise and train teams and suppliers on quality, materials, welding, and standards
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Certified welding specialist (IIW Welding Supervisor preferred) with solid NDT and QA knowledge
Technical background in metal/apparatus construction or stainless steel; technician/HTL education is a plus
Experience in quality inspections (visual, dimensional, PT, PMI) and welding standards (DIN EN ISO 9606, PED 2014/68/EU)
Skilled in QA/QC methods, supplier interactions, and project management support
Willingness to travel for projects
Confident communicator with suppliers, fluent in English (German appreciated and other languages a plus)
