We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with a strong background in both Windows and Linux environments, to support and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of database systems, warehouse operations, and security controls, and will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our systems.Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers and workstations
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
Manage and optimize database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Support warehouse-related IT systems and ensure seamless integration
Implement and oversee IT security measures (firewalls, access controls, antivirus)
Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards
Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations
Profile
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in system administration
Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux distributions, and virtualization technologies
Proven experience with database management and optimization
Familiarity with warehouse systems and logistics-related IT processes
Solid understanding of IT security protocols and tools
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
German language skills are a plu
