Join our Data Management team and bring your passion and talent to work.Senior Data ManagerMännedorf, SwitzerlandYour contributionIn this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and optimizing our product configurator and ensuring the completeness and consistency of material master data and BOMs within our ERP system. You will provide essential training and support to ERP users, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our data management processes.Responsibilities
  • Maintaining T-CH products within the Tecan product configurator and supporting configurator-related matters, including coordination with other production sites
  • Creating and maintaining material master data in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Checking and distributing master data of T-CH sales products to sales organizations as needed
  • Facilitating regular communication and information exchange with internal and external departments
  • Supporting colleagues in the area of master data within the ERP system
  • Contributing to the achievement of project, group, and departmental goals
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on tasks and statuses
  • Ensuring high quality and accuracy in your work, right the first time
  • Continuously developing your knowledge and skills through training and self-study
  • Actively participating in the development of team goals and decisions that impact the team
  • Analyzing and assessing requests for new items, item maintenance, BOMs, and technical changes, ensuring only high-quality requests are processed

  • You hold a university degree in a relevant scientific field, such as information technology
  • You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in master data management within a manufacturing environment, working with configurable products
  • You have deep expertise in SAP R3 and S/4 Hana, especially with SAP configurator, and are highly skilled in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
  • You are experienced in creating and maintaining material master data and have a strong understanding of material master data tables and fields
  • You are fluent in English and comfortable working in a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders and aligning teams around common objectives
  • Your analytical and conceptual thinking, strong influencing skills, and commitment to high-quality work set you apart
  • Additional SAP certifications (such as S/4 Material MD or S/4 HANA VC configuration), knowledge of Windchill, Intelligent handover with S/4, and proficiency in German are valued
