Become part of our community!The research group of Michael Hall is looking for a laboratory technician to support an industry-sponsored project focused on cancer.Your position

to culture and manage cell lines
to perform cell-based and in vitro experiments
to perform biochemical assays
to perform basic protein and nucleic acid techniques such as SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting, (q)PCR and sample preparation for MS
to support organization and maintenance of the lab
to communicate with and report to the industry partner

Your profileYou have completed a degree in biology (Bachelor's/Master's) or training as a lab assistant/technician. You have experience in cell culture and in vitro experiments. You are experienced in cell-based and biochemical assays and downstream sample processing, e.g., for immunoblotting and qPCR. Experience in proteomics, microscopy, and FACS techniques are a plus.
The successful candidate is highly motivated, eager to acquire new skills, and can work independently in a team environment. A good self-organization and high standards in technical reproducibility and documentation are of highest importance. Communication skills in oral and written English are important. Communication skills in German are an advantage.
