As a Credit Manager, you will ensure the management of credit risk borne by the Branch through the analysis of the risk profile of each counterparty, assess limits and credit terms, and the monitoring of daily exposure.Activities
Analysis of the counterparties' business profile and their creditworthiness, drafting of a summary note, recommendation or approval of a credit limit and terms.
Control of daily exposures (Physical and Derivatives), compliance with Credit delegation, implementation of credit risk mitigation tools, reporting.
Contribute to the development and support of the trading activities within a secure framework
Control of internal procedures
Gathering and analysing market information, monitoring counterparties, setting up alerts, assessing/updating default rates, carrying out studies on the macro-economic and competitive environment of business sectors
Knowledge of underlying transactions and legal frameworks, close interactions with counterparties.
Candidate Profile
You hold a master's degree in finance or economics
You have at least 10 years of financial experience in a bank or a commodity trading company in a similar credit position
Good knowledge of instruments used in international trade and risk analysis
Good knowledge of information tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ and reporting tools including Power BI and Power Point
Good programming skills (Python) is an advantage
Fluent in English. Any other European language is an asset
Good interpersonal skills, team spirit and strong commitment, analytical skills, rigor and responsiveness.
