As an AI Steward, you will collaborate with the AI Enablement team within Data and Analytics to champion Governance and Ethics with model developers and owners. You will play a key role in implementing our AI/ML governance framework, with a focus on emerging AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.About the Role:Your responsibilities will include:
  • AI Model Lifecycle Management: Support the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models, from development to deployment, ensuring compliance with external expectations and internal policies. You will assist in tracking compliance progress for your assigned portfolio and report findings to the AI Enablement (Responsible AI) team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to integrate AI governance controls into development and deployment processes. Support a responsible data culture that ensures data governance is practiced across all domains and levels.
  • Risk Assessment Support: Assist in evaluating risks associated with AI use cases, particularly focusing on LLM-specific challenges such as hallucinations, prompt injection, bias amplification, and interpretability issues. Help develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Education and Learning: Participate in training programs on AI governance best practices. Support data stewardship activities as AI adoption increases and takes on additional significance.
About You:You're a fit for the role of AI Steward if you meet most of these criteria:
  • Education: BSc/MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Statistics).
Technical Skills:
  • Programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with data science libraries
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with LLMs and AI Agents: Demonstrated experience (through studies, projects, internships, or work) with Large Language Models, AI agents, or generative AI technologies. This could include:
  • Academic projects involving LLMs or AI agents
  • Internships or work experience with conversational AI, chatbots, or LLM applications
  • Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face)
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, or AI agent architectures
