SUMMARY OF THE JOBAs the RMX Sustainable Products Manager working within the Group Marketing/RMX Commercial Division, your primary mission is to lead the global charge in elevating the quality control performance across countries and spearheading the development and deployment of sustainable products like ECOPact, ECOCycle and brands supporting the journey towards Net Zero. This strategic role is at the heart of our commitment to revolutionise the Ready Mix Concrete Industry by integrating sustainability with quality, thereby reinforcing our position as the No.1 Green Concrete Company globally.The Ambition: To redefine industry standards by embedding sustainability and exceptional quality control at the core of our products and operations. We aim to drive innovation, ensure the highest quality standards, and promote sustainable practices that contribute to the decarbonization and circularity of the construction sector.MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIESGlobal Quality Control Leadership:Oversee the quality control (QC) performance across countries, setting benchmarks and best practices to ensure product excellenceLead global working groups to harmonise QC standards and practices, driving improvements in product quality and customer satisfactionSupport countries in the development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and carbon reporting, enhancing transparency and accountability in our sustainability efforts.Sustainable Product Development:Lead the development and rollout of sustainable products, including ECOPact and ECOCycle (other brands supporting sustainability/circularity goals), aligning with our commitment to sustainability and innovation.Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operational teams to ensure sustainable products meet market needs and regulatory standards.Technical Marketing Support:Work closely with the Global Brand Marketing area to integrate sustainability and quality messages into our product marketing strategies.Provide technical expertise and support for marketing campaigns, sales pitches, and customer engagement activitiesSustainability in Procurement:Oversee the procurement of greener raw materials, assessing their impact on product quality while pushing for more sustainable alternatives.Champion sustainable solutions throughout the supply chain, from sourcing to production, to minimise environmental impact and promote circular economy practices.JOB DIMENSIONSImprovement in global QC performance metrics, aligning with industry benchmarksSuccessful launch and market penetration of sustainable products like ECOPact and ECOCycle (other brands supporting sustainability goals)Enhanced sustainability reporting, including EPDs and carbon footprint of our portfolio.MDO - Mix Design Optimization and its overall cost impact in the group, development of AI-driven solution with other business segmentsKey interfaces, stakeholders and relationships:Group Marketing RMX teamGroup Marketing Branding teamHICOther relevant business segments, e.g sustainability, cement, aggregatesHolcim countriesPROFILE REQUIREDLevel of education/qualifications normally required / specific work experience:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.At least 10 years of experience in quality control, sustainability, or product management within the construction or building materials industry.Demonstrated expertise in sustainable product development, environmental reporting, and procurement strategiesBehavioural competencies:Exceptional leadership and the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards common sustainability and quality goals.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.Innovative and strategic thinking with a focus on sustainability and quality improvement.Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape.Language skills:EnglishOther - beneficialMobility requirements:If not currently based in Switzerland, willingness to move to SwitzerlandWillingness to travel as required to support and lead initiatives globally.Do you want to work in an international and dynamic working environment with attractive benefits?
