Duration: 5 months ? with possibility of extensionKey Responsibilities:
- Ensure all distributed products comply with client suitability and distribution standards.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear governance frameworks.
- Analyze regulatory changes, assess their business impact, and propose compliant product solutions.
- Act as Product Owner within an Agile development team, prioritizing features and user stories.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and user testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation of workflows, user stories, and processes in JIRA and Confluence. Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry with exposure to:
- Product governance and regulatory projects
- Trading, risk, and/or product issuance across structured products and derivatives Proven experience as a Product Owner, including: Managing product backlogs and writing clear user stories Working within Agile methodologies Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Agile project management practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of translating complex regulatory issues into practical business outcomes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or SAFe/Scrum certifications.
