TasksMain focus:
  • Guide and support new customers in data migration
  • Provide configuration and troubleshooting expertise
  • Support customer troubleshooting during data verification and interface testing
  • Develop KPIs and work on data analytics projects
  • Maintain and create required documentation for data migration
Your tasks:
  • Consulting customers on how to migrate legacy data using ETL software
  • Mapping data between AMOS and the legacy system
  • Development and coding extraction scripts (e.g. in SQL and Java)
  • Evaluation, configuration and specification of interfaces
  • Develop data migration sub-project plans with the Swiss-AS Project Manager
  • Leading small data migration projects end to end
  • Ensure that tools and documentation (e.g. Data Migration Guidelines) are relevant and up-to-date

  • AMOS and MRO knowledge as a plus
  • Organizational, communication- and interpersonal skills
  • Degree/diploma in software engineering, computer science, aviation and air transport engineering with strong IT background
  • Proficient in SQL, scripting- and programming languages
  • Database knowledge (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, PostgreSQL)
  • Working independently and under pressure in project environments. Project management experience is a plus
  • Customer orientation, making decisions and ensuring quality
  • Fluent English
  • Significant travel (at least 50%). Be prepared for ad-hoc travelling and customer site visits over an extended period
  • Work permit for Switzerland/EU - Relocation to Allschwil/Basel
