Help bring science to life and join a leading pharmaceutical company to play a key role in delivering impactful research that drives healthcare innovation!Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Technician QC Raw Materials to join a pharmaceutical team in Switzerland. In this role, you will support laboratory operations, perform non-product testing, and contribute to various projects. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Responsibilities:
  • Assist with lab operations, including housekeeping, reagent preparation, inventory management, and material ordering.
  • Label and track samples and materials while maintaining accurate records.
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure a well-organized lab environment.
  • Represent the department during audits or inspections as needed.
  • Conduct non-product testing, such as raw material visual inspections and environmental monitoring.
  • Review data and communicate sample management activities with lab and manufacturing teams.
  • Support investigations by gathering data and assisting with document revisions.
  • Train colleagues on tasks and provide input for scheduling assignments.
  • Contribute to team projects and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform stability, raw material, and bulk product testing.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Ability to follow procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in basic electronic systems (e.g., email, MS Office) and lab data systems (e.g., LIMS).
  • Knowledge of cGMPs, USP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Educational background in a scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent experience in a regulated environment.
