We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client's in Basel. In this contracting role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and systems meet defined specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. You will contribute across the product development lifecycle with a strong focus on testing, verification, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans and test cases
- Conduct functional, performance, and regression testing
- Analyze test results and identify defects
- Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve issues
- Document and report testing activities and results
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback
- (Nice to have) Create and maintain automated test scripts
Your Background
- Experience in software or system testing within a product development environment
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify quality issues
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards (industry-specific)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- (Nice to have) Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting
