o Act as the first line of operational decision-making and escalate strategic issues to the Head of Retail Environment when required
o Ensure equitable workload distribution, resource planning, and ongoing performance management of the team
o Provide mentorship, professional development, and training to strengthen project management capabilities within the teamProject Portfolio Oversighto Oversee the global pipeline of retail store development projects, ensuring consistency in execution and adherence to brand and operational standards
o Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation across all team projects, ensuring alignment with departmental KPIs
o Conduct regular project reviews with Project Leaders to ensure proactive problem-solving, risk management, and on-time deliveryStakeholder & Vendor Coordinationo Strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders (operations, sales, store design, vm) and external vendors, contractors, and consultants
o Oversee vendor performance management, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, quality standards, and budgetary targetsOperational Excellence & Innovationo Standardize processes, tools, and best practices across the team to enhance efficiency and scalability of project delivery
o Ensure compliance with all building codes, local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability requirements
o Drive innovation in retail environment development by integrating new technologies, sustainable materials, and cost-efficient solutions.ProfileYou have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field
You have 10+ years of experience in retail store development, with at least 5 years in a team leadership or line management role
You have a proven track record overseeing large-scale, multi-market retail development projects from design through to store opening
You have a strong financial acumen with experience in budget development, cost control, and ROI analysis
You demonstrate proficiency with project management tools and design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite; Rhinoceros 3D/VRay a plus)
