We are now looking for an analytical and positive person to join our Underwriting team as a Market Facing Underwriter for Affinity in Sweden or Finland.As an Affinity underwriter, you will build up and be responsible for your own portfolio of partnerships with assignments such as customer management, distribution, quotations, negotiations and measuring performance and analyzing risk.You will build partnerships in support of customer/business acquisition and retention. You will also proactively contribute with ideas and work for the development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer and distributor insights. As well as proactively seek new partnership opportunities.Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience as an Underwriter
Good understanding of group insurance schemes in the Nordic non-motor Affinity space
Knowledge and experience of the local insurance market
Demonstrated expertise of business and product development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a Nordic language are required
Skills and competencies:
Ability to deliver excellent customer service
Project management skills, co-operating with other internal functions
Strong analytical skills and business awareness
Technical background and knowledge along the underwriting core processes
Knowledge of risk analysis and selection, pricing for new business and renewals
Good negotiation skills and sales oriented
Good presentation skills and a solutions and service orientation
