Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Contract) – Baden / HybridWe’re looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a high-impact Azure migration programme for a major international energy trading organisation. You’ll be joining a skilled cross-functional team responsible for ensuring the stability and scalability of hybrid cloud environments during a major multi-year transformation.Key points at a glance:Hybrid role – 50% onsite in Baden (Switzerland)English-speaking environmentAzure / Infrastructure / Automation / Hybrid Cloud / DevOps / IaC40h/week with on-call duties after ~2 months (1 week every 5-6 weeks)Contract from September 2025 until December 2026Day to Day responsibilities:Operate and support hybrid environments spanning on-prem and AzureDesign and implement infrastructure using Terraform or JammlManage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, Octopus)Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLIImplement and maintain Zero Trust security principles, Azure AD, and RBACSupport backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and alerting workflowsCollaborate with distributed engineering teams and 3rd-party suppliersParticipate in an on-call rota after onboarding (~every 5-6 weeks)Ideal Background / Experience:Strong experience with Azure Infrastructure (VMs, Networking, Storage, VPNs, ExpressRoute)Proven background in hybrid cloud operations and DevOps practicesSkilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), scripting, and automationFamiliar with Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and identity managementKnowledge of Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and cloud storage performance tuningExcellent communicator – able to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersComfortable working independently in complex, enterprise-scale environmentsFluent in English (written and verbal)To apply for this Cloud Infrastructure Engineer contract role in Baden, please send your CV or contact Ric Marshall at Oliver James for more information.Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Contract) – Baden / Hybrid
