Develops and implements EHS programs as necessary to ensure compliance, with applicable laws, the company's Environmental Safety Management System (ESMS), and ISO 14001 standards. Assists in the deployment of the Global Value Chain EHS strategy across the Swiss campus including support for transformational activities. Develops and delivers EHS related training; collaborates with local and global stakeholders to update content in response to regulatory changes or site-specific needs . Establishes and provides coaching to employee-led teams such as Behavior-Based Safety Team, Green Team and Water Stewards. Plans and conducts risk assessments, supporting operational teams in identifying hazards and defining effective mitigation strategies. Provides oversight and technical support for the campus's incident response processes. Gathers, analyzes and evaluates EHS data for both local and global reporting, and uses insights to drive improvement initiatives. Monitors regulatory developments and industry trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities and to foster innovation. Influences and coach site management teams in developing robust action plans to enhance EHS performance and execute strategic goals Supports communication of EHS strategy to the campus tailoring messaging to ensure alignment and engagement across functions. Monitors regulatory and industry trends for our operations to identify risks and opportunities and develop strategies to ready the sites and embrace innovation Gather, analyze, and evaluate data for local and global reporting and as input for improvement processes. Drives a continuous improvement mindset through the on-going identification and implementation of best practices (inside ELC and externally) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Safety Science, Engineering, or other scientific/ technical discipline. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in EHS, with a focus on safety, occupational health, hazardous materials, machinery safety, or environmental affairs, preferably in manufacturing environment. Preferred certifications: Specialist for Occupational Safety and Health (ASGS), NEBOSH International Diploma, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credentials. Candidates working toward such certifications are also encouraged to apply. Strong understanding of EHS management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), methodologies, and best practices. Solid knowledge of Swiss Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and the ability to understand and communicate technical, environmental, and safety requirements effectively. Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences and contexts. Strong analytical and data handling skills; proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Power BI is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. Full professional proficiency in German and English
