R&D Fragrance Technology Development TraineeCOTY is seeking a talented, highly motivated intern to work with COTY's Fragrance Technology Development Team within the R&D Center of Excellence for Fragrance.The role should be a good fit for candidates interested in the field of science, innovation, and beauty industry.RESPONSIBILITIES, you will be supporting the team on new fragrance technologies projects including new formats and new chassis for fine fragrance and beauty category.Your main focus:
Running literature research, patents landscape and competitive landscape.
Identifying new raw materials from suppliers and testing them in the fragrance context
Formulating cosmetic products (body lotion, shower gel, EDT) to support new fragrance technology development
Delivering prototypes of new chassis that will meet consumer needs and marketing requests
Ensuring the feasibility of new technologies and new chassis including all the technical aspects such as performance, stability, microbiology, safety, regulatory requirements and future scalability of the process.
Supporting the other team members for samples preparation and evaluation
Ensuring effective written and oral communication with weekly reports and presentations
Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Materials Science with previous working experience in the lab
Skills in formulation and technical evaluation of products
Autonomous approach
Ability to identify and solve problems
Ability to work in an international environment
Flexibility, Responsiveness, Curiosity, Team Spirit
Rigorous, well organized, results orientated work approach
Passion for Science and Innovation
Passion for Beauty with a focus on the Fragrance Category
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) - Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
