Advise customers on-site regarding IT systems and actively contribute as a DevOps Engineer within agile project teams in the Consulting C5I domain.
Oversee systems throughout their entire lifecycle — from design and implementation to deployment and operations.
Specify, evaluate, and configure infrastructure components for ICT platforms.
Implement and migrate ICT platforms to meet customer requirements.
Analyze incidents and system errors, initiate corrective measures, and monitor resolution.
Define key parameters and metrics for monitoring service-level compliance.
Establish and maintain escalation procedures for incident handling.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical system documentation.
Drive innovation, foster a strong feedback culture, and ensure goal-oriented collaboration in customer-integrated projects.
Degree in Computer Science or completed IT apprenticeship (EFZ) with several years of professional experience; alternatively, career changers with IT certifications and proven work experience.
In-depth expertise in virtualization and container technologies, Ansible, VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, data center management, networking, as well as Windows and Linux systems.
Strong programming skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
Additional knowledge of firewalls, NetApp, Kubernetes, Docker, ArcGIS, and Selenium is a plus.
Independent, proactive, and reliable working style.
Strong quality orientation and ability to assert ideas effectively.
Excellent spoken and written German; English proficiency (B2 level) is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Thun and Bern.
Military background as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is considered an asset.
