Unlocking the full potential of life.JOB FUNCTIONAs Plant Controller, you will manage the management and statutory P&L, enforce costs control, and be responsible for standard costing activities.A crucial aspect of your role involves contributing to and participating in financial process improvements, with a focus on digital transformation to enhance financial reporting and analysis.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Financial Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed explanations for OPEX and CoGS Variances.
  • Monthly Closing Activities: Handle monthly accruals. Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts as well as internal and external audit.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for the plant for Headcounts, OPEX, CoGS and standard costs (calculation and costing run in SAP)
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Accounting, and Controlling teams to ensure cohesive financial operations.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing our financial processes and systems, with an emphasis on digitalization.
  • Communication Excellence: Ensure clear and timely communication, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization. Ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner to non-financial stakeholders.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in SAP CO Module (SAP) – Experience with SAP4 Hana is a plus. Advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with financial software and tools (Smartview, Hyperion, etc.).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability in data and statistical analysis with an eye for detail while maintaining a broader strategic perspective.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Critical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Skills: Can-do attitude and ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Language: Excellent command of English
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEEDUCATION: A master's degree in finance or accounting and/or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) would be advantageous.EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5-7 years in a similar role preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.ABILITIES, TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIESLanguages: Excellent command of English is requiredComputing: High Proficiency in SAP CO Module (Material Ledger, BOM, Costing, Inventory etc.), Experience with SAP4 Hana is a plus.
