IAM Engineer with Okta Expertise

- Location: Zürich + Remote (only based in Switzerland)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent
- Proven work experience (5+ years) in identity and access management (IAM) or related areas with a specific emphasis on Okta's platform
- Possession of Okta certifications, such as Okta Certified Administrator or Okta Certified Professional, is highly desirable and showcases your proficiency in Okta's platform
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients regarding Okta-related projects
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners on IAM initiatives
- Advancing projects in the absence of direct authority
- Extensive hands-on experience with Okta's Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Okta Single Sign-On (SSO), Okta Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Okta Universal Directory, Okta Identity Governance, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to configure, customize, and manage Okta integrations with various applications and services.
- Experience in creating and managing Okta workflows and integration of third-party API
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in digital identity.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols and technologies such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud identity management and federation, with a particular focus on Okta's capabilities.
- Experience in developing IAM processes and capabilities from design to implementation covering both the technology and business aspect.
- Proficiency in working with REST APIs and using them programmatically to integrate and automate Okta processes.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Okta-based identity management and access control.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug Okta configurations and integrations effectively.
