Collaborate with the Dev QC department and oversee lab analyses in compliance with GMP standards.What you’ll get:An agile career and a dynamic work cultureAn inclusive and ethical workplaceCompensation programs that recognize high performanceRelocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if neededWhat you’ll do:Guide, supervise, and consistently improve a team of project scientists with an emphasis on feedback and performance monitoringEnsure successful delivery of QC reviews for all projects, including drug product batch releases, stability studies, and comparability studiesIndependently handle and solve possible risks/issues of QC deliverables through effective communication with collaboratorsLead all aspects of the entire sample lifecycle from pull to disposal, ensuring timely processing and proactive risk managementAct as Process Owner for assigned areas during customer audits or regulatory inspectionsEnsure compliance with electronic worksheet and sample lifecycle management in LIMSAdvance risks and issues to upper management if resolution at the tier level is at riskIndependently review and approve phys-chem assays under cGMP, following applicable SOPs and Good Documentation PracticesMaintain training compliance and accurate recording of working time for the teamShare standard methodologies, lessons learned, and propose process improvementsCollaborate and communicate with partner units and collaborators to ensure successful project deliverySupport onboarding of new Project ScientistsDeputize Head of QC Project Leads as necessaryWhat we’re looking for:MSc or equivalent experience in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related fieldProven leadership and team management skillsExtensive experience in Analytics or Quality Control, preferably under cGMP regulationsExcellent working knowledge of relevant analytical techniquesStrong reporting and scientific skills with the ability to interpret complex analytical dataAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyProficiency in written and spoken EnglishAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
