Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: Project Operations ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support and co-drive projects by improving processes and developing smart tools. Each day, you will act as a sparring partner for the project management team, bringing structure into the project routine, identifying optimization opportunities, and ensuring transparent reporting. You will also contribute by creating and maintaining modern SharePoint environments and implementing efficient automation solutions.The work model for the role is: #hybridThis role is contributing to the Project Management & Business Support function in Switzerland. Main stakeholders are project management, finance controlling, and process improvement teams.You will be mainly accountable for:Acting as a sparring partner for the project management team by providing organizational and analytical support.Driving improvement initiatives and leading them from idea to implementation.Supporting reporting processes, analyzing KPIs, and contributing to monthly closings and forecasts for financial controlling.Developing and maintaining SharePoint structures and workflows.Creating efficient tools that support project execution and implementing smart automations (e.g., Power Automate, Excel VBA) wherever it fits.Our TeamYou will join a collegial, dynamic, and forward-thinking project team, where you will have the opportunity to contribute actively and develop further.Qualifications for the roleDegree in project management, business informatics, or a comparable field, or completed technical education with further qualification as technician.Practical experience in project support, process management, or IT-related work, ideally in a technical or organizational environment.Highly skilled in SharePoint (structuring, permissions, lists, workflows).Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with experience in VBA programming; ideally complemented by knowledge of Power Automate.Analytical mindset, structured way of working, and strong communication skills.Passion for continuous improvement, responsibility-taking, and driving change.Proficient in German and English (B2/C1); French is an advantage.More about usABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
