Your RoleJoining us on the role as Manager Maintenance Planning you will oversee the coordination, supervision, training, and support of the Technical Operations Planning team, which is responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting on all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for data centers. They ensure the development and maintenance of up-to-date Annual Maintenance Plans for all Data Centers, aligning with global, EMEA, and local regulations, as well as the availability of qualified site staff. Additionally, you will participate in cross-functional teams to review and refine business and technical processes, facilitates continuous improvement, and ensure consistency across the group by sharing knowledge and liaising with global peers.Moreover, you will provide professional and disciplinary leadership to the Tech OPS Planners, including objective setting, coaching, performance review, and training. They are responsible for task qualification and distribution within the team, ensuring adherence to Global Digital Realty policies and standards. You will oversee the development of annual maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with company maintenance policies and local regulations, including environmental, health, and safety requirements.Your Profile
Masters degree or comparable as an electrical engineer, equipment technician or mechanical engineer or comparable
Minimum 5 years of practical experience in an electro-technical or industrial/ mechanical environment
Knowledge of ITIL or equivalent process framework
Experience in team leadership is required
Goal oriented leadership and self managed
Good communication skills and Team oriented way of working
Skilled in large-scale electrotechnical systems, mechanical/ cooling/ climate control systems, and building technology operations
Skilled in technical maintenance and installations
Fluent in English; German is an advantage
