Apply online at .As a Global Head of Safety & Health, you will inspire the entire Nespresso organization to lead the journey towards zero harm, zero injuries in Health and Safety. You will be developing and driving the Safety and Health strategy for the 80+ markets. You will therefore be the SPOC for the Nespresso factories located in Switzerland, the Global Retail teams hub located in Milano and support for all markets where the 700+ boutiques are operating, as well as the Warehouses, DCs, After sales centers, Customer relationships centers, recycling centers.A Day in the Life of a Global Head of Safety & Health
  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of Nespresso Safety & Health strategy across markets, aligned with the overall group strategy, to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Champion compliance with company principles, policies, and SH&E requirements, including ISO/OHSAS certification and local legal requirements
  • Promote and engage all employees through Caring Leadership, Safety by choice and Safety by design
  • Develop and implement tools and initiatives to increase awareness and capability in Safety & Health to achieve objectives
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate Safety & Health performance to improve decision making
  • Build capabilities in Safety and Health management across the organization.
  • Train, Coach and Assess capabilities in Safety and Health in the organization, with special focus on the Safety specialists in the markets and Operations and Supply chain teams.
  • Define and lead coaching visits in the markets and Nespresso facilities.
  • Define and deploy communication strategy in Safety and Health involving senior leaders of Nespresso organisation.
  • Share learnings and good practices with other parts of Nestlé and actively participate in Zone and Global initiatives
  • Advise and support Market management to integrate Safety & Health into MBS, and drive improvement
  • Provide functional leadership, coaching, and support to Safety & Health staff across the Market and develop a strong and effective function with technical and leadership capabilities
  • Participate in external forums to benchmark with other companies/industries and ensure Nestlé-Nespresso's needs and views are considered in relevant regulations, standards, initiatives, and projects
What will make you successful
  • Successful Stakeholder management with proven ability to influence at all levels
  • Application of Nestlé SH&E management tools, e.g., NEST, NEMT, Safety Leadership Basic Behaviors, BBS, PIQUET, etc.
  • Strong appetite for autonomy and willing to travel
  • Operational experience in managing Safety & Health issues at a facility/local level and in a Factory environment
  • Practical experience of local S&H priorities, e.g., driving safety, behaviour based safety, machinery safety, ergonomics, health, contractor management, process safety
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in an operational environment, working in and with cross-functional teams
  • Leveraging NCE, Key standard routines and Goal alignment principles to drive SH&E improvements through influencing others without authority
  • Track record in leading major change to improve performance in different Safety & Health areas
