100% - 2 year contract - January 2026Responsibilities:Deliver the teaching and learning of Mathematics and lower secondary Science throughout the secondary school effectively.Participate in the design, development, implementation and review of the lower secondary, IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics and Science programmes.Liaise with curriculum leaders to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom.Identify SEN students and work collaboratively to ensure their needs are met.Ability to lead on projects and work independently.Promote the health and safety of assigned classes.Participate in professional development and contribute to regular staff training/meetings.Contribute to a programme of trips, excursions, field trips and extracurricular activities.Enhance the professional standing of the teaching body.Contribute to the development of a positive attitude between Mathematics and the wider community through cooperative relations, publications, competitions, etc.Qualifications and Skills:Subject-related degree and PGCE or equivalent.Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years' experience, ideally in an international environment.Experience of teaching IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics preferred; MYP and/or A Level experience required at minimum.Ability to teach lower secondary Science and/or IGCSE/IBDP Biology, Chemistry or Physics.Excellent communication skills and a team player.Ability to share your passion for teaching.Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.Ability to inspire mixed culture and ability classes by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students.Ability to support student needs in learning and pastoral matters.Clear criminal record.If you share our passion for education and would like to join our team, please apply directly online through our website.
