Trading entities are based in Geneva, Paris, Houston, and Singapore.TotalEnergies installed its European trading hub across in Geneva, which now bring together very large teams around trading activities: TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping (T&S) and TotalEnergies Gas and Power (TGP).T&S is the trading company in charge of all physical trading and shipping of crude oil and refined products on behalf of the TotalEnergies. It has been a major and active participant all over the supply chain as well as on the derivatives paper market to manage market risk.What you will doYou will be part of the FIT team, which consists of 10 members with front office status and is located on the trading floor. The FIT team is responsible for the derivatives pricing library and all its related tools. It serves as the entry point for all trading desks, whether physical or virtual, for risk management and new digital tools.You will join the team as part of the "DIGITAL TOOLS CATALOG" project. This project aims to provide a catalog of all existing tools for the front office, along with documentation, organized by use cases and desks. You will participate in collecting documentation from the various tool owners and presenting it in a dynamic, centralized, and user-friendly manner. In a context of a high turnover on desks and a highly digitalized environment with numerous applications, centralizing tools and facilitating access to their documentation is essential.The trading floor is a high pace, challenging environment, requiring agility, sharpness, and rigour. Excellent communication, teamwork, multi-tasking are also essential skills. This internship will offer you the opportunity to discover this environment and work with its actors.The internship will be focused on the delivery of this central documentation and can be breaked down in the following points:
  • Communicate with multiple trading desks and development teams to gather existing documentation, in various formats and from different owners.
  • Manage responsibilities and follow ups on documentation advancements.
  • Help laying out the documentation in an effective and unified manner.
  • Participate in the integration of the documentation in an innovative tool for knowledge sharing.
  • Monitoring of a wider documentation presentation tool (if time left).
  • A tri-partite internship agreement is mandatory.
