Marketing for Asset Management focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.This role is responsible for working with the Head of Client Services & Marketing –in the management and execution of the marketing strategies and activities to deliver against the objectives and ambitions of Asset Management and specific AMCH Marketing Strategy and Plan. They also work with and guide local sales teams to ensure that the HSBC brand is promoted in a cohesive and consistent way and using the agreed campaign assets and supporting materials produced.Are you interested ?   • • The execution and effectiveness of regional and local brand campaigns, platforms and campaign assets that can be used consistently across the markets - implementation of planning of events from A to Z; organizing campaigns & mailings which include CRM lists, coordinate with external mailing firm, etc..
  • Website champion; manage the content and deliverables for AMCH.
  • Manage the production, distribution & storage of collaterals with internal and external providers (brochures, slideshows, giveaways, branded items, etc..).
  • The creative development process within Marketing, including agency relationships and processes to support creativity and consistency throughout the markets.
  • Relevant aspects of brand governance in terms of guidance, framework and templates and the processes that support their use (including the Marketing Centre).
  • Responsibility for ensuring all elements of campaigns are managed within the agreed marketing spend.
  • Backup client service related tasks to be carried out accurately and in accordance with established procedures within agreed timescales.
Teamwork:
  • Identify and work with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and ensure that strategies and solutions will be effectively delivered by all areas of the business. Key stakeholders include the global Marketing teams and Sales heads/teams.
  • Drive introduction and adaptation of HSBC Group best practices.
  • Liaise with marketing across HSBC globally, sharing best practice, common standards and approaches.
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the Client Services team.
Operational Effectiveness & Control:
  • Follow marketing financial process, procedures and manage within the Marketing budget allocated.
  • Review and monitor the Global Marketing brand communications and campaign activity to meet local Brand and Marketing objectives.
  • All agreed marketing campaign plans are developed, delivered, and measured in line with the agreed processes and governance framework.
  • Responsibility for ensuring all marketing activities are measured, evaluated and reported, post implementation.
  • Responsible for proactively identifying risks and providing recommendations on mitigating actions in the event of the internal and external developments e.g. changes in business strategy, revised segmentation, competitor activity, emerging channel development, changes in legislation etc.
RequirementsYou should apply if you have:
  • Minimum 8 -10 years broad based business experience, ideally within a Financial Services based institution.
  • A range of Brand and Marketing Communications planning and operational experience, including demonstrable success in developing and developing campaign strategies and multi channel high profile campaigns. This should cover experience of identifying the role of research, proposition development, communications, delivery and channel management.
  • Asset Management experience essential.
  • Proven ability to be a self starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of the asset management business served from Switzerland as complex regulated market.
  • Proven understanding of customer insights and their role in communications development.
  • Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts.
  • Strong understanding of communication developments and emerging consumer and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to work on multi function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.
  • Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities.
  • Fluent in English and German language skills in both verbal and writing are required, French is an advantage.
