Please only apply for an internship if you fulfil the following two criteria:(1) You have no close relative serving in the ILO.(2) This is your first internship with the ILO (only one internship is permitted).DepartmentThe social media intern position is located within the Department of Communication and Public Information (DCOMM).The Social Media intern will work in the Strategic Communication (STRATCOM) unit of DCOMM to support the content creation for the ILO's global social media accounts.Learning areaAs an intern in DCOMM, you would be working on the following tasks; * Support the Audience Engagement Officer in managing and maintaining ILO's presence on social media networks.
- Monitor the ILO social media accounts and the work of the organization through social media networks.
- Support the content creation for social media, mainly for TikTok and Instagram.
- Assist in drafting messages, designing social media materials and producing videos for social media.
- Select and edit photos for social media posts.
- Monitor trending issues in social media networks to bring ideas to the daily editorial meetings.
- Support on social listening, data results collection and analysis.
