Our mission: We safely power your flight. As a Kitting Specialist (New Engines) you will carry out a visual inspection of the parts or modules for transportation damage. You will check the documents for correctness, whether the required quantity of parts or modules is available, creates labels in SAP for unserviceable parts or modules. You will ensure that the required standards are met and that the technical Onlog in SAP is correct.Your tasks
- Working on LEAP, GTF, parts and modules
- Visual inspection of transport damage of parts and modules and quantity check
- Complete and check the SAP Onlog structure
- Checking LLP sheet (life limited part) for correct parts installing
- Organize the exchange and return of material with the material coordinator team
- Communicate with Engineering and Material Master for SAP data adjustments
- Storage the parts and modules in the designated place
- Signed of technical and administrative task according to the relevant guidelines
- On time completion of tasks as well as assurance of quality of completed work
- Use of the concepts of Lean and Six Sigma (Lean Events, Root Cause Analysis, 5S) to ensure continuous improvement
- Completed vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineers, machine mechanics, or equivalent)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/ part 66
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely and in a responsible manner
- Open-minded and dedicated team player
- High safety, quality, and cost awareness
- Knowledgeable in MS office and SAP experience
- Knowledge of English language (minimum level B1); German skills are advantageous
- Flexibility to travel on short notice to perform Field Assistance Support at any location
