
Mechanical Supervisor (80-100%)

- Planning and executing the detailed mechanical works based on contractual requirements and the available resources at site as well as advising site personnel (mechanics, welders, helpers) of proper use of the necessary tools and materials. In addition to that, identifying discrepancies in drawings and report them for revision.
- Ensuring and supervising that the mechanical workforce and all contractors are using the tools and materials according to the documents (last revision for construction) and are delivering the works according to the promised quality standards and according to the promised schedule.
- Establishing priorities, evaluate mechanical requirements in consultation with site manager and ABB product management/engineering teams. Also, ensuring correct priority allocation and minimizing schedule disruptions in work.
- Participating in site meetings with site manager, staff, contractors, and customers and addressing technical queries to the site manager or to the back-office.
- Degree as Mechanical Engineer Apprentice
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable site work experience
- Advanced technical knowledge in electrical aspects of the ABB GMD system
- Willingness to travel Fluency in English; Spanish is an advantage
