An exciting opportunity to work in Switzerland with a lovely family! Separate accommodation offeredA lovely family based in Switzerland, who have previously worked with our maternity team is looking for a fun, creative, and engaging nanny to join their household.The position will involve sole charge of the youngest child, attending to all her daily needs, and supporting her through various developmental stages, including her learning and overall development. You will also be supporting with the oldest child when required who will be going to full-time nursery in September. The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, and able to nurture the children by planning engaging age-appropriate activities.Both parents work but mum has a flexible schedule, so they are seeking a nanny confident in taking on full sole charge and managing the children's daily routines independently.Job specification:
  • Undertaking daily sole charge nanny duties
  • Nursery pick-ups and drop-offs
  • Attending groups, activities and playdates
  • Planning and preparing learning and development activities at home to support the different milestones
  • Following the children's daily routine
  • Going for walks, to the park and exploring nature
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the little girl and supporting youngest with weaning
  • Undertaking nursery duties (baby's laundry, preparing bottles/meals, keeping nursery tidy).
  • Flexibility to travel with the family 4 or 5 times a year would be required - Two longer holidays and three short holidays
Accommodation: A separate apartment located close by can be providedCandidate specification:
  • Someone who is bubbly, engaging, proactive and has a good level of energy
  • A fluent English speaker is required
  • Must have the right to work in Switzerland or hold an EU passport
  • Someone who is pet friendly is required as the family have a small dog (no duties required)
  • Experience working with babies and toddlers is required
  • Strong knowledge of weaning and developmental milestones
  • Warm, professional, discreet, and flexible approach
  • Relevant childcare qualifications or maternity training highly desirable
