Join our Product and Application Management team and bring your passion and talent to work.Product Manager ConsumablesMännedorf, ZurichYour contributionIn this challenging and multifaceted role, you will take ownership of the full lifecycle of assigned consumable products from market analysis and business case development to product launches and customer support. You will lead cross-functional projects to expand the solution portfolio, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, and ensure commercial success through targeted marketing activities and performance tracking.Responsibilities
  • Owning the lifecycle of consumable products, ensuring optimal performance and user experience with Tecan and OEM platforms
  • Supporting the execution of the product roadmap, including market launches and business case development
  • Contributing to marketing plan development and leading product management projects such as marketing collateral and trade shows
  • Conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence, and pricing analysis, and tracking commercial performance
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, operations, quality, regulatory, inside sales, application specialists, software developers, and product management
  • Partnering with manufacturing and supply chain to address production and supply topics
  • Managing day-to-day activities such as inside sales support and providing product training and technical collateral to commercial teams
  • Supporting customer satisfaction through follow-ups on complaint investigations and customer support
  • Traveling to visit customers, suppliers, and attend trade fairs and congresses (10%-20%)
  • Considering environmental and social impacts in decision-making, alongside technical and commercial factors
Your backgroundWe're not just looking for hard skills: We're looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field; a Master's degree or PhD is highly valued
  • Up to two years of experience in a life science research or diagnostics laboratory
  • International experience that supports success in a global environment
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills such as German considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AI tools or Adobe InDesign is an advantage
  • Customer-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a highly structured, analytical, and process-oriented approach
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to connect with customers, suppliers, and colleagues around the world
