- Manage Commercial Team with full account and business management responsibility to protect and grow business in the market
- Build and implement a growth strategy for the market, coordinating the elaboration of strategic plans for key accounts
- Lead and coordinate the activity of the Account Managers and support departments, creating a performing environment with motivated and talented individuals
- Develop partnerships with key accounts, including relationships with senior level management
- Set up pricing strategy and guidelines together with Pricing team and lead its execution in the market, support Customer Care in managing and optimizing Supply Chain; support Credit Management activities
- Monitor market and sales (including Indicators and budget), taking corrective actions to ensure sales goals are achieved
- Ensure access and knowledge about the latest innovation, capabilities, tools, consumer and market insights and cross regional industry and segment trends for the market, share and articulate market needs to Regional Innovation teams
- Manage the daily operation of the local entity together with the external partners, assuring compliance with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory regulatory guidelines
- University degree in Food Science, Economy, Marketing or Business Administration with an affinity for the food industry
- 8+ years' successful sales, marketing or customer relationship management experience in food, beverage or related industry.
- Deep understanding of Food ingredients landscape in the market, general business climate, competitive landscape, financial potential, key account decision makers
- Expert knowledge of Taste and Flavour industry and customer regulatory requirements, including technical criteria and specifications
- Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships with customer decision makers and influencers
- Experience managing distributors
- Lead and motivate the commercial team and good track record, min. 5 years' leadership experience
- Proactive communication skills (verbal and written) with all partners in an international company environment, ability to navigate in a complex matrix structure
- Fluency in English
