We're working with a leading European energy trading house looking to hire a Power Originator to join their expanding commercial team in Zurich. The role will focus on originating structured and standard power transactions across both the buy and sell side, with a particular focus on continental European markets.Responsibilities:Originate and execute power trading opportunities across continental EuropeBuild and manage commercial relationships with utilities, producers, large industrials, and trading counterpartiesCollaborate closely with traders, analysts, and risk to develop and price structured solutionsNegotiate commercial terms and support contract execution with internal teams (legal, credit, operations)Requirements:Strong background in European power markets, ideally with 4+ years' experienceProven track record in origination, deal-making, or commercial trading rolesFluent French speaking is mandatoryBased in or willing to relocate to Zurich
