As a Junior ICT Support Engineer, you will provide first- and second-level technical support to end-users for our client. You will assist with hardware and software troubleshooting, IT service delivery, and contribute to maintaining a stable IT environment. This is an ideal role for someone early in their IT career, eager to gain experience in a global, fast-paced corporate environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite and remote support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests via the service management tool (e.g., ServiceNow)
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and standard software packages
Support user onboarding and offboarding processes (including hardware provisioning, account setup, etc.)
Assist with meeting room technologies (e.g., video conferencing systems, AV equipment)
Document support activities and maintain knowledge base articles
Collaborate with 2nd/3rd level support and infrastructure teams as needed
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards
Participate in hardware lifecycle activities (e.g., imaging, upgrades, decommissioning)
Requirements:
Completed IT apprenticeship, technical diploma, or equivalent experience
Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory
Understanding of IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or other device management tools
