As a Junior ICT Support Engineer, you will provide first- and second-level technical support to end-users for our client. You will assist with hardware and software troubleshooting, IT service delivery, and contribute to maintaining a stable IT environment. This is an ideal role for someone early in their IT career, eager to gain experience in a global, fast-paced corporate environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite and remote support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests via the service management tool (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and standard software packages
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding processes (including hardware provisioning, account setup, etc.)
  • Assist with meeting room technologies (e.g., video conferencing systems, AV equipment)
  • Document support activities and maintain knowledge base articles
  • Collaborate with 2nd/3rd level support and infrastructure teams as needed
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Participate in hardware lifecycle activities (e.g., imaging, upgrades, decommissioning)
Requirements:
  • Completed IT apprenticeship, technical diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory
  • Understanding of IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or other device management tools
  • German and English language skills, must have
